WILLIAM J. W. MERRITT (P.C.).  Mr. Merritt addresses local and national industry conventions on tax and estate planning techniques. He is married with a family and is active in church work and athletics. 

LEX A. WATSON, II.   Following graduation from law school, Mr. Watson worked with an investment banking concern in Durham, North Carolina, specializing in the field of real estate syndications.

JOSEPH K. BEACH.  Prior to joining Merritt Watson, Mr. Beach engaged in the practice of law with two law firms in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  Mr. Beach is married, has two sons and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.

H. MARK EMANUEL practiced tax law in both North Carolina and South Carolina before joining Merritt Watson.

MELISSA N. DONNELL.   Following graduation from law school, Ms Donnell worked in the Estate and Trust Administration Group at Bank of America in Atlanta, Georgia.

LISA A. GOLDBLATT.   Prior to joining Merritt Watson, Ms. Goldblatt was engaged in general practice (with a concentaration in estate planning and administration) at a New York law firm.

JAMES W. HEATON.  Prior to joining Merritt Watson, Mr. Heaton was a partner in a mid-sized Atlanta law firm, where he practiced primarily in the areas of banking and real estate law.  He is married, has three children and enjoys golf and traveling with his family.

KEVIN J. MCGRATH.  Including time with accounting firms, Mr. McGrath has 13 years experience advising high net worth individuals.  His legal practice is concentrated on estate and income tax planning for high net worth individuals, with an emphasis on income tax and transfer tax minimization strategies.

WILLIAM H. MCLEAN.  Mr. McLean’s practice is litigation in the areas of business, employment, securities, construction, government and civil rights.

STEPHANIE T. PERRY.  Mrs. Perry focuses her practice on estate planning for high net worth individuals, utilizing complex planning techniques to preserve clients’ wealth and minimize transfer tax liabiltiies, and on the adminstration of decedent’s estates.

MICHAEL W. RUSHING.  Mr. Rushing has been practicing in Atlanta since 1971 and was formerly a principal in the Atlanta law firm of Neely & Player.  Mr. Rushing is also a Certified Public Accountant.

WILLIAM F. WELCH  joined Merritt Watson as Senior Counsel/Arbitrator in 2007, having served as Senior Partner at Welch Spell, P.C. (15 years) and previously as a partner at Neely & Player, P.C. (19 years) in Atlanta, Georgia.

NANCY WIGGINS-LESTER.   After law school, Ms. Wiggins-Lester was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Allen L. Chancey, Jr., United States Magistrate for the Northern District of Georgia.
